  1. It all depends on the degree of your depression. If you’re only mildly depressed, it’ll work like a charm. If you’re deeply depressed, forget the St. John’s Wort and go see your doc about a prescription.

As with anything, you’d have to take it on a regular basis for awhile before you could expect any appreciable results.

    I took it for a while…

Unfortunately, It can screw with your birthday control, so I stopped taking it.

=( emotional… I find sunlight helps sometimes? (I say this because I know we both have desk jobs). Some upbeat music?

I hope you feel better today.

Music helps tremedously. I do need to get out in nature and soon my Jeep will be hummin’ so I’ll be doing that for sure.

My tubes are tied so no birth control worries here. Hmm…I may just try SJW.

Did you experience any of the side effects?

oh…and I am not feeling better today unfortunately.

I go in and out of minor depression and I am at the point where I can’t tolerate not being able to feel any other emotions.

      I need to be able to laugh…and I can’t. 🙁 not belly laugh anyway…

  3. (((hugs))) Not sure about St. John’s.

    Feel better soon my friend.

Pep Products makes a supplement called “Happy Camper” (no joke). It’s available at Wild Oats, and other natural food stores. I used to take it, and it works amazingly well, and there were no side effects at all. 🙂
