Well, tomorrow is my first “official” day as Interim Director. I will be trained by the outgoing ED for a week and a half. Her last day is Weds. the 15th.

I WILL actually have my professional “uniform” on tomorrow as I will be welcomes aboard at the board meeting tomorow evening.

Juast hope the fact that I am going to be less available for other things doesn’t wig my friends/associates out to much. The reality is that I have been way TOO available, even though I have been pretty busy. It’s because I am usually at or near this computer all day and always by the phone.

It’s going to be hard for me to get used to as well. I’ll miss setting my own “hours” to work. AND I still have many committments outside of WYSE.

I have my consulting job. I’ll be able to meet with them on my lunch hour, which makes it easier. They are “near” my office downtown.

I have my work with FOCUS. Vagina Monologues is coming up very soon and we are heading to NYC for April 1st.

I have Itengvu, although that is in a strange limbo for me. It has not quite come to me how to help M right now.

Once S leaves next week, I will be in the office alone part of the time. I am sure that would be lonely for some, but it will be similar to being here except I can’t go downstairs and cook lunch. 🙂

I’ll be bringing my lunch as I will not have the funds to eat out for quite some time yet.

Well, I’m going to go lay down, write in my journal and TRY to clear my head.

I am wrestling with some insecurities and anxieties. Not related to my new job, actually. I need to let go of some things I have no control over…that have crept up on me.
