The Hermit
Position: Situation

Main (positional) Meaning:
What you are seeking is an uninterrupted period of contemplation and peace in your next relationship.

The card that lands in the Situation position refers to social or circumstantial factors which could be affecting your life at this time.

When the Hermit is in this position, you crave plenty of privacy and an end to the stimulation coming from friends, work, relationship, as well as every other civilized distraction. If at all possible, make the usual supervisors, critics, and back seat drivers disappear for a while. Then you can pull away from the people you have been involved with lately and forget about their agendas. This is a wonderful opportunity for contemplation. It’s possible in a situation like this that you will experience some precognition and sense of what is to come.

Your sense of inner stillness is precious. Let your potential love interest know what you need right now. Be understanding, but firm, in explaining that a demanding, needy relationship can hinder your progress at this time.

The Sun
Position: Love & Me

Main (positional) Meaning:
You are in the right place at the right time for a potential relationship with one you desire.

The card in the Love & Me position touches on an aspect of how you perceive yourself with regard to possible intimacy in your life.

The Sun in this position symbolizes a return to Eden, a return to your original nature. This is the card of the person who is expressing the highest creativity and doing her or his best work.

Your motives, outlook, beliefs and relationship goals are all synchronized. There are no hidden motives, nagging doubts or fear of the outcome. Relax, look around and enjoy the wonderful view from the center of your universe.

Nine of Swords
Position: Challenges

Main (positional) Meaning:
A difficult relationship that brings sorrow may also give rise to feelings of liberation.

The card that lands in the Challenges position refers to ways that you can turn obstacles into stepping stones.

With the Nine of Swords in this position you may be facing a paradox that illustrates how that which causes grief and sorrow may also produce a great release. Sometimes the catastrophe you fear the worst may actually be the end of an impossible or difficult relationship. If this is one of those times, consider the possibility that binding obligations to a past — be it a relationship or situation — may now be ended.

If this is so, then you may now be free to choose your own direction, to explore and grow beyond circumstances that previously hemmed you in. The very fact that this may be happening indicates your readiness to make this transition. Somewhere beneath the distress and loss is a reserve of strength that has been building for this kind of opportunity. Point yourself toward healing and liberation. Free from suffering, you can focus on the positive. Collect visions and ideas that will help you rise above feelings of hopelessness. Let go of the past and let your spirit soar!

3 Comments on It’s kinda amazing how Online Readings are sometimes dead on, eh?

I did an online reading the other day and thought it was very accurate. I’ll be curious to see how close the readings between online and real life are when I get my cards and start reading again.

      which deck do you use?

I had several at one point and used them all depending on which felt to be the right deck at the time. I can’t remember the names now though. My ex got rid of them all. ::insert grumbling here:: The only one I remember is Tarot of a Moon Garden at the moment. I’m going to get a beginner’s deck that I think is the same deck I first started reading with and had the best rapport. From there I’m not sure what I’ll get.
