So, I was on the bus today on my way to a job interview and this guy on a cell phone had a violent interaction and got fired while we were on the bus. I was on my way to a very promising interview and this insane theory came to me:

Ever feel like you have been left high and dry by the universe?

As Shakespeare said, “All the
world’s a stage, And all the men and women merely players…”

So, maybe we have managers, like actors do, and there is a shortage of angels who want to manage humans. So, if this guy loses his job because he’s a vulgar idiot, someone else gets a shot. He tossed out the script and ad libbed.

When you lose a job, get a divorce, etc. you are self managing. You are on your own baby! Let’s see if you can make it!

Hey! I just want them to know that not only will I do whatever it takes, but I’ll pay top dollar to the nearest agent they got!

Is this how actors sell their souls to “the man”?

ok…enough of my insanity. I’m over it now.*sigh*

Sort of along the same lines, when I’m being overly stressed by something major (divorce, end of a relationship, etc…), I feel like I’ve been left high and dry because I needed to be taught a lesson. Like I’ve gotten too big for my britches or gotten too self assured, so I had to be knocked off my feet for awhile until I learned some humilation again. And not by a god/dess type force but by a guardian angel type.
