Ever click the wrong button and lose all that you just wrote in all it’s brilliance and candor? Darn…

Ok…here goes again:

AS I sat in my room this morning enjoying a cup of Trader Joe’s Colombiano coffee, I perused the LA Weekly music section. What did I stumble across, you ask?

TEARS FOR FEARS is releasing a new album on Tuesday! There is a kick off party in Hollywood Sunday night, a concert and signing at Tower records on Tuesday night and they will be playing in a KROQ concert at Glenn Ellen next Saturday. *sigh*

Let’s see if I can get to that one…but either way I hope to see them live at Jimmy Kimmel’s show in Hollywood Oct. 18th.

When I was 13 or so, I was infatuated will Curt Smith of TFF. Funny thing is, when I was 19,  I actually got a chance to travel to England, and visited his home town of Bath. It was a pretty town in Southeast England with great gardens and architecture.

The album that had an impact on me as a teen was their angst ridden compilation about growing up: “The Hurting”

Here is some TFF info
